Description
A spare rubber cap to protect the track rod end from dirt and the elements. To install, loosen the bolt on the top (Sprint X and VTX: bottom) of the track rod. Never loosen the hexagonal nuts on the track rod thread. Carefully pull the protective cap over the track rod end with both openings until it is fully seated on the rack rod. Then apply screw lock again to the bolt and tighten it with a torque of 10 Nm. Finally, carefully slip the protective cap over the tie rod end.
